Now that we have recorded seven episodes we are starting to hang of the podcasting thing and we’re having a blast with it.

Here is how it works:

Once a week, through the miracle of modern technology, I get together with my friend and fellow REALTOR Todd Tarson over the internet and we chat about things like real estate, local news, events, politics, sports, etc. We do an audio recording of the conversation and post it at www.MohaveRealTalk.com for your listening pleasure.

You can listen to the podcasts directly through your web browser, download them as audio files, or subscribe to the RSS feed.

We aren’t trying to change the world or anything. We’re just having a good time, sharing our views and perspectives on what’s going on in Bullhead City and Kingman, and comparing notes.

The mission of Bullhead City Blog is to be an information resource for residents and visitors of the Bullhead City area. To Connect you to Bullhead City.

My friend Todd Tarson runs a similar blog for the Kingman area at MoCo Real Estate News. Todd and I have worked together on several REALTOR projects, and with our similar interests, we tend to compare notes about our markets, our writing, and so on.

We’ve been talking for some time about collaborating to bring our efforts together and add an element of conversation to the mix. After some behind-the-scenes juggling of schedules and technology, we’ve taken our conversation to the “air” with a new audio podcast.

In case you’re not familiar with the format, an audio podcast is just like a radio show, except it is broadcast over the internet. You can listen to our podcast directly through your browser or download it as an mp3 file and listen on your computer with a program like iTunes or Windows Media Player.

We’ve recorded two episodes so far, and we would love your feedback as we get comfortable with the format and work out the details. What do you want to hear about? What should we call it? For now, we’re calling it Mohave Real Talk.

You can find Evan and Todd’s Podcast here. I will also post links to new episodes here on Bullhead City Blog as they become available. We’ll work out a regular schedule soon, for now we are planning on pushing out new ones roughly once a week.
