Includes all residential property types (Single Family Homes, Manufactured Homes, Condominiums) reported to the Western Arizona REALTOR Data Exchange. No commercial property or vacant land.

Bullhead City Homes Sold in August, 2009

Last month I reported that July was the highest selling month in Bullhead City since May of 2007 with 81 homes sold.

Well, August bettered that figure with 87 homes sold.

If you’re keeping score at home, you’ll note there have now been 10 consecutive months of year-over-year increases in home sales in Bullhead City.

Unlike the last few months, the median sale price actually increased month-to-month (by 16%), but it’s still off 15% from a year ago.

46 of the 87 homes sold in August were foreclosures. More on that in the upcoming monthly foreclosure report.

Fort Mohave Homes Sold in August, 2009

There were actually fewer home sold in Fort Mohave in August, down to 31 from 37 in July.

At the same time, the median sale price moved up from $123,900 to $130,000 and the price per square foot moved up from $77.13 to $81.42.

Mohave Valley Homes Sold in August, 2009

Mohave Valley sales remained the same from July to August at 12 homes sold, but that looks a lot better than the 7 homes sold a year ago. Like Bullhead City and Fort Mohave, the median sale price moved up form the previous month (by 14%).
